Xcell Therapeutics wins 'ESG Management Award' for cell media & culture media technology 

Xcell Therapeutics is the first company in the world to develop a serum-free chemically defined culture medium for stem cells. In recognition of this achievement, the company was awarded the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award for Bio-Innovation last year. This year, the company obtained the New Product (NEP) certification. The company's culture medium technology is used for new drugs such as cell therapy, but it also contributes to the commercialization of eco-friendly cultured meat. An official from Xcell Therapeutics said, "We will grow into a representative biomaterial company in Korea that is recognized by others," adding, "Our goal is to contribute significantly to the development of the advanced bio industry."
